Biography
High School: Varsity swimming for four years, served as captain in 2022. Competed at IHSA State 2019, 2021, and 2022. Broke the LFHS 100 Backstroke School Record and LHS 100 Backstroke Pool Record. Earned All-Academic, North Shore Conference Sportsmanship, and Most Valuable Athlete Awards. Swam on a competitive club team, Scout Aquatics, for 10 years and competed at the State, Sectional, and National level, qualifying for finals at State and Sectionals. Competed at 2023 NCSA Swimming Championships
Personal: Parents are Wendy and Paul Darling... has one sibling Chloe... plans on majoring in Biology
Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "I chose UW-Madison because I was accepted into an Early Assurance program at the School of Pharmacy, demonstrating the great academic programs offered here that will help me reach my career goals. There is also such a strong sense of school spirit and pride that comes with being a Badger that I wanted to experience."
What Wisconsin Rowing means to you: "Wisconsin Rowing is the opportunity for me to be apart of a team of dedicated and hardworking individuals. Being apart of this supportive community challenges me to always keep improving as we work toward reaching our goals."
