Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "I chose to attend UW-Madison for its prestigious agriculture school and rowing program. I was recruited to UW-Madison as a lightweight rower, but it was important to me that I attend a school with a strong agriculture program, since that was what I was interested in studying. While I love rowing, school and my studies always come first, so I was extremely excited that I could combine my passions for rowing and agriculture at UW-Madison. My decision to attend UW-Madison was a clear, easy choice and since coming to the university, all of my expectations when it came to sports and academics have been upheld and exceeded."

What Wisconsin Rowing means to you: "Wisconsin Rowing has pushed me as an athlete to hit standards that I've never thought were possible. Every practice I feel like I become a better rower and I love being able to push myself and go for goals that previously seemed out of reach. This program has also brought me into a community where I've met some of my closest friends. The girls on the team push me to always be my best so that we can succeed as a team. I couldn't imagine what my life would be like without Wisconsin Rowing."
