"I chose to attend Wisconsin to benefit from their top-level athletics paired with their well-known academics. The effort they put into producing graduates who are prepared for life after college is also a big reason why I chose Wisconsin. "
Coach Trask: "Oli joined us this spring and has been learning about the culture and principles of play here at Wisconsin. He has excellent technique and range while possessing the competitive streak needed to play at a high level. Oli will challenge for time in the midfield and his time preparing for college soccer in Iceland has allowed him to compete immediately within the team.
Coach Tiemeyer: "Oli is an exciting pickup for us. He comes from the IMG Academy and with great personal experience from his father's native Iceland. He has a long stature that allows him to cut out passes in the midfield and is a very good passer himself. He will compete immediately for a midfield position in our team."
