2022 Season: Played in 12 games, starting all 12 at running back … led the Badgers and ranked 4th in the Big Ten with 1,242 rushing yards … rushed for at least 100 yards in 7 games … reached the 2,000-yard career rushing mark vs. Michigan State (10/15), becoming the 5th fastest Badger to reach that mark in program history (19 games) … reached the 1,000-yard mark for the second-straight season, surpassing the milestone at Iowa (11/12) … became the fifth Badger to run for 1,000 yards as both a freshman and a sophomore … has totaled 15 rushing scores in conference action over his first two seasons, tied for the most in the Big Ten over that span … scored on a 75-yard run at Ohio State (9/24), giving him four runs of 70+ yards in his career, trailing only Jonathan Taylor (5) in UW history … broke a 96-yard touchdown in the season opener vs. Illinois State (9/3), notching the longest run in Badger history and the third longest run by a Big Ten player ever … Totaled six rushes of 30+ yards, the T-2nd most in the Big Ten T-13th most in the nation … completed two passes out of the wildcat formation, including a 23-yard TD to RB Chez Mellusi in a win over Northwestern (10/8) … became the first Badger RB to throw for a score since James White in 2012 … Ran for three TDs vs. New Mexico State (9/17) to push his career rushing TD total to 17, the second-most of any Badger RB ever over the first 15 games of a career (Dayne 24 through 15 games) … named the offensive MVP of the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, rushing for 116 yards and a score on 22 carries … totaled 13 catches for 104 yards in 2022, both career highs
2021 Season: Earned first letter, playing in 12 games and starting 4 at running back ... led the Badgers and ranked 3rd in the Big Ten with 1,268 rushing yards ... joined Ron Dayne (1996), James White (2010) and Jonathan Taylor (2017) as the only true freshmen in school history to run for 1,000 yards ... averaged 6.82 yards per carry, tied with Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson for the best average in the nation among backs with at least 140 carries ... rushed for at least 100 yards in 8 games, including a streak of 7 straight 100-yard games ... that streak was the longest by a freshman in school history ... only Anthony Davis (2001) and Jonathan Taylor (2017) had more 100-yard games as a freshman at UW ... his 8 100-yard rushing games tied him with Kenneth Walker III of Michigan State for most in the Big Ten ... his 9 rushes of 30+ yards were most by a Big Ten player and tied for 4th-most in the country ... only 9 of his 186 carries (4.8%) went for negative yardage ... carried the ball just 12 times for 49 yards in UW's first four games ... named MVP of the Las Vegas Bowl after rushing for 159 yards on 29 carries ... ran for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the game-winning score with 3:50 left in the game, against Nebraska ... the week prior, in his first career start, ran for 173 yards and 3 TDs against Northwestern ... ran for 140 yards and 2 TDs on just 12 carries at Purdue
