2025: Appeared in 16 games with 17 at-bats…Hit first career grand slam against Kansas (Feb. 7)…Career-high four RBI against Kansas (Feb. 7)…Both career home runs have come in pinch hit situations
2024: Started three of the 16 games that she appeared in... amassed three hits in 19 at-bats... Had her first multi-hit game, and hit her first career home run, against Utah on March 3, going 2-for-2.
2023: Started one game in the 14 that she played…amassed one hit in seven at-bats for the first hit, a double, of her career against DePaul on April 11…scored four runs for the Badgers and had one RBI…finished with two put outs and one error for a .667 fielding percentage.
2022: Played in 32 games her freshman season, starting one...primary role came as pinch-runner where she crossed the plate scoring 15 times...appeared in the field against Maine (3/11) and finished with three put-outs and a 1.000 fielding percentage at second base.
High School: Played at Jefferson High School under Coach Mark Peterson. Was a State Tournament Semifinalist in 2021, 1st Team all-conference infield in 2021, 1st team all-district and 1st team all-state in 2021, 2nd team all-conference infield in 2019, and holds the school record for hits (52) and RBIs (54) in the 2021 season.
Personal: Parents are Hannah and Neil Dempsey… has two siblings, Haden and Hilden… major is Civil Engineering
Why Wisconsin: Wisconsin has always been my home and the sense of culture and family at Madison is unbeatable; it’s every Wisconsin kid’s dream. I know that by choosing Wisconsin, I will have a top-tier education while playing high-caliber softball, all while preparing myself for life after college.
