Jacob Snuggerud is in his first year as the Badgers’ interim equipment manager while Sis Paulsen works with USA Hockey for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
He handles the maintenance of equipment for the Badgers, the team's laundry and also assisted with video during the 2021-22 season.
Snuggerud is no stranger to the WCHA as he served as the student equipment manager for the Bemidji State women’s hockey program from 2017 to 2020. He managed the equipment needs for the team, provided laundry service and set up the locker room for visiting teams.
After his time with Bemidji State, Snuggerud worked with the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the United States Hockey League as the head equipment manager.
Snuggerud also has experience with USA Hockey as the Chaska, Minnesota, native worked the 2019 USA Hockey National Festival in Lake Placid, New York, the boys select 16 camp in Amherst, New York and the girls 16-17 camp in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
