Named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team and the All-Big Ten Honorable Mention Team … led the team with 22 assists from the blue line … his 25 points ranked fourth among all UW players and second among the conference’s freshmen defenders … became the first UW defenseman to score 25-or-more points in his rookie season since Ulvis Katlaps scored 35 points (4 goals, 31 assists) in 1992-93 … also led the Badgers with 12 power-play assists and tied for the lead with 14 power-play points … recorded 55 blocks on the season, good for second on the team … his six blocks in the 3-2 win over Michigan Tech on Oct. 1 led all Badgers … scored multiple points nine times during the season … tallied his first career point on Oct. 21, assisting a goal in the Badgers’ 4-0 victory … scored his first goal as a Badger on the power play, adding the game-winning assist, in a 6-3 win over Michigan State on Nov. 10 … had a career day against Michigan on Nov. 18, dishing out three assists in a 4-4 draw … scored the game-winning goal against then-No. 1 Notre Dame at the United Center on Jan. 21, going coast to coast for the first goal in the 5-0 shutout … had back-to-back two-point games in the series against St. Lawrence, Oct. 27-28, tallying two assists in each contest …  assisted two goals in a 5-4 loss to Minnesota on Dec. 1 … had two assists on Jan. 6 in a 3-3 tie with Penn State … tallied the game-winning assist, as well as a goal, in the 4-2 victory at Michigan on Feb. 3 … notched two assists in Wisconsin’s 6-5 loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals on March 2 … one of four rookies to play in all 37 games for the Badgers … spent most of the season paired with senior Jake Linhart … co-recipient of the team’s Mark Johnson Rookie of the Year Award (Linus Weissbach)
