Why Wisconsin: I chose Madison for the diversity of people and opportunities it offers. I grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin, so I wanted to go somewhere bigger, but I loved how Madison still felt like a small town in many ways. Wisconsin Athletics was also something that drew me in. Before coming here, I saw UW Athletics as such a prestigious program and never dreamed that I would be lucky enough to be a part of it.

What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Being on this team feels like being part of a family. We work together, care about each other and grow together. This being said, it also means being held accountable, learning hard lessons and having high expectations placed on me. Sports teach you resilience, mental strength, work ethic, truthfulness and compassion. I feel overwhelmingly proud that I am able to represent this program.
