Awards: Academic All-Big Ten (2017, 2018)

2018-19: Coxed the third varsity four at the Big Ten Double Dual, topping both No. 13 Iowa and No. 20 Indiana (April 13)

2017-18: Coxed third varsity four to a fifth place finish at the Big Ten championships (May 13) ... coxed the third varsity four to a first place end at Devil's Lake (April 29) ... 2018 Academic All-Big Ten Honoree

2016-17: Won the Big Ten Championships with Wisconsin’s novice eight (5/15) … led the novice eight to a win at Minnesota (5/1) … coxed the second varsity eight to a first- and second-place finish at the San Diego Crew Classic (4/2) … led Wisconsin’s second varsity four to wins over Michigan and Minnesota at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/8) … coxed the second novice eight to two wins at the Big Ten/Big 12 Invitational (4/23) … led an open eight to second place at the Milwaukee River Challenge (9/17) and third at Head of the Rock (10/9) … also raced to seventh place with a lightweight four at the Milwaukee River Challenge

2015-16: Coxed the novice eight to the Big Ten Championship (5/15) ... led the novice eight to wins at Minnesota (5/1) and against Indiana at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/9) ... led the second novice eight to a pair of wins at the Big Ten/ Big 12 Invitational (4/23) as well as a win over Iowa at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/9)

High School: Competed five years and earned four varsity letters in rowing … competed at Head of the Charles in 2013, 2014, and 2015… selected to USRowing High Performance Camp in summer of 2013… competed at the 2015 USRowing Youth National Championships in the women’s lightweight four in Sarasota, Florida
 
Personal: Parents are Holly and Leonard Merriman … has a younger sister, Grace, and two younger brothers, Nick, and Gordon … majoring in personal finance
 
Reason for choosing UW- Madison:  The atmosphere, academics, and the proximity of the boathouse to campus
 
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Wisconsin rowing means a lot to me because it encapsulates the team atmosphere as we are working towards one goal together.
