Reason for choosing UW-Madison: Even though I am from Minnesota, I have always wanted to be a Badger. My dad is from Wisconsin and his influence caused me to fall in love with UW-Madison from a young age. On my visits to UW-Madison, the campus, the lake, and the community feel of not only the rowing team but also the whole student population showed me that UW-Madison is where I really want to go.

What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Wisconsin rowing means that I get the opportunity to do what I love as long as get a great education with people who share the same passion for rowing that I do.
