Biography
2025 Outdoor Track: Placed first in both the triple jump and the long jump at the Badger Challenge, earning marks of 40-4 1/4 (12.30m) and 19-8 3/4 (6.01m), respectively (May 2)... Finished as the runner-up in the triple jump at the Fighting Illini Twilight with a leap of 40-5 1/2 (12.33m). Also placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 18-10 3/4 (5.76m), while finishing 19th in the 100 meters with a time of 12.48 seconds (Apr. 26)... Made her season debut at the 44 Farms Team Invitational, placing 21st in the long jump with a leap of 18-7 (5.66m). Finished in 11th in the triple jump, turning in a mark of 40-3 1/4 (12.27m), and 50th in the 100 meters with a sprint time of 12.25 seconds (Apr. 12).
2025 Indoor Track: Earned a season best in the long jump at the Wisconsin Windy City Invite, leaping 19-0 3/4 (5.81m), good for fifth place. Also earned 11th place in the triple jump with a mark of 39-5 3.4 (12.03m) (Feb. 14)... Placed sixth in the long jump at the Lenny Lyles Invitational with a leap of 18-9 3/4 (5.73m). Sprinted an 8.04-second 60 meter dash, good for 47th place. Completed the weekend with a distance of 38-5 1/2 (11.72m) in the triple jump, earning 15th place (Feb. 1)... Took gold in the triple jump with a leap of 40-0 1/2 (12.20m) at the Fighting Illini Invite, finished in sixth in the long jump and seventh in the 60 meter dash (Jan. 25)... Finished in second in the triple jump at the Hawkeye Invite, leaping a 39-10 3/4 (12.16m). Also competed in the long jump, where she placed third by covering a distance of 17-11 1/2 (5.47m) (Jan. 18)... Placed second in the triple jump at the Wisconsin Midwest Invite, earning a mark of 39-07 3/4 (12.08m). Earned sixth place in the long jump with a distance of 18-0 1/4 (5.49m) (Jan. 11). Competed in the 200 meters at the Chicago State Invite, running a 27.44, good for 12th place (Dec. 6).
2024 Outdoor Track: finished 15th in the long jump with a distance of 18-5 ¾ (5.63m) and 20th in the triple jump with a mark of 39-3 1/4 (11.97m) at the 2024 Big Ten Outdoor Championships (May 11-12)... won the triple jump with a distance of 40-7 ½ (12.38m), finished second in the long jump with a mark of 19-2 (5.84m) and was a member of the 4x100 squad that finished second in 46.50 seconds at the Badger Challenge (May 3)... finished ninth in the long jump with a distance of 18-10 (5.74m) and fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 40-6 ¾ (12.36m) at the Texas Invitational (April 26-27)... finished 14th in the long jump with a distance of 18-2 ¼ (5.54m) and 15th in the triple jump with a mark of 37-2 1/2 (11.34m) at the Battle on the Bayou (March 29-30)
2024 Indoor Track: Finished 23rd in the triple jump with a distance of 38-7 ¾ (11.78m) at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 23)... won the long jump at 18-8 3/4 (5.71m) and finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 40-6 (12.34m) at the Alex Wilson Invitational (Feb. 17)... finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of18-5 (5.61m) and sixth in the triple jump at 40-5 (12.32m) at the Badgers Windy City Invitational (Feb. 9-10)... finished 10th in the long jump with a distance of 17-7 (5.36m) and second in the triple jump with a distance of 38-9 ½ (11.82m) at the Michigan Invitational (Jan.26-27)... finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of 18-0 ½ (5.50m) at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (Jan. 19)
High School: Senior year outdoor Conference and sectional champion in the triple jump and long jump… state qualifier in the long jump, triple jump, 4x100, and 4x200… All-State in 4x200 and the triple jump… set school records for both long and triple jump… as a junior earned conference indoor and outdoor champion in the triple jump… state qualifier in the long jump, triple jump, 4x100, and 4x200… All-State in the 4x200… freshman year finished ninth and earned an all-state finish at the IHSA state meet in the triple jump.
Personal: Father is Steven Perkins… has one brother, Grant Perkins… father, Steven, competed in football at Indiana University… majoring in business marketing
