Winter Rowing on Frozen Lake Mendota

The Badger women's rowing teams find different ways to enjoy themselves over the winter months while local water is frozen.
This year is no exception. Despite a frozen Lake Mendota, the women's teams decided they weren't going to wait any longer before heading out on the lake to row. With head coach Maren LaLiberty directing from a stationary bicycle, the lightweights and openweights moved their erg machines onto the lake for a midwinter, outdoor lake workout.
