The Wisconsin football team, which conducted a lengthy morning scrimmage at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday morning, is ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press preseason college football poll released Saturday.

The Badgers, who are ranked 20th in the preseason coaches poll, appeared in the preseason A.P. poll for the seventh consecutive season.

Wisconsin opens the 2003 season at West Virginia in two weeks. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT with ESPN televising the contest nationally.

In other news from the team's training camp, head coach Barry Alvarez announced that TE Bob Docherty, OL Jeff Lang and DL Andre Williams have left the program.
