James To Miss Northwestern Game

Erasmus James, Wisconsin's senior defensive end and the Big Ten quarterback sacks leader, will miss the Badgers' game with Northwestern on Oct. 23 due to an ankle injury he sustained in Saturday's 20-17 victory at then fifth-ranked Purdue.

James is expected to return to the lineup for Wisconsin's next game after the Northwestern contest, which is at home against Minnesota.

This week's game against the Wildcats is set for 11 a.m. CDT and will be televised live by ESPN.
