Evaluation Of Davis To Continue
September 07, 2004 | Football
Anthony Davis, senior running back with the University of Wisconsin football team, was seen by an eye specialist on Tuesday and learned that his medical situation is improving, head coach Barry Alvarez announced.
Davis will see another specialist on Wednesday. His status for Saturday's game with UNLV will not be known until after he sees the second doctor.
Davis, the school's No. 2 career rusher with 3,781 yards, left the Badgers' 34-6 win over UCF late in the second quarter last Saturday and did not return due to his eye injury.
