Stiemsma To Take Leave Of Absence

Wisconsin sophomore Greg Stiemsma is taking a temporary leave of absence from the men 's basketball team for personal medical reasons. Stiemsma did not travel with the Badgers for Wednesday's game at Ohio State. There is no set timetable for his return to the team.

Stiemsma has appeared in all 16 games for UW this season, averaging 2.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in 11.7 minutes.
