Badgers Continue Ascent in Polls

Following its 24-3 victory over Purdue on Saturday, the University of Wisconsin football team (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) jumped to No. 17 in the AP Poll and No. 18 in the USA Today/Coaches Poll released today.

The Badgers, who sit in third place in the Big Ten Conference standings, improved from their No. 21/22 ranking a week ago.

Ohio State (8-0) is still atop both polls, followed by Michigan (8-0) at No. 2/3.
