Beckum Named to Walter Camp Second Team

Travis Beckum, sophomore tight end for the Wisconsin football team, was named to the Walter Camp second-team All-American squad, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced Thursday.
Beckum joins UW offensive tackle Joe Thomas, who was named a first-team All-American by Walter Camp.
Beckum leads the nation's tight ends with 821 receiving yards on 56 receptions. Both of those figures are Wisconsin records for a tight end.
Beckum, a native of Milwaukee, was a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award, which annually goes to the nation's top tight end.
