
Tegenkamp talks to UWBadgers.com: Part III

Former Badger Matt Tegenkamp is currently in China as a member of the U.S. men 's track and field team. The 2005 University of Wisconsin graduate, qualified for his first Olympics by finishing second in the 5,000 meters at the U.S. Olympic Trials on July 1.
UWBadgers.com sat down with Tegenkamp in early August to talk about his upcoming trip to Beijing and the Olympic Games.

Tegenkamp is the first UW men's track and field Olympian since Pascal Dobert qualified for the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia. He will compete in the preliminaries of the men's 5,000 meters on Aug. 20 with the final scheduled for Aug. 23.
