
Miller named CRCA Lightweight Coach of the Year

Wisconsin women's lightweight coach Erik Miller has been named the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Lightweight Coach of the Year.
Miller, in his third year at the helm of the Wisconsin lightweight program, guided the team to its sportid=193&storyid=18128"> --> second consecutive Intercollegiate Rowing Association national championship last weekend. The Miller-led Badgers dominated the field, winning the crown by over 11 seconds over second-place Bucknell.
The national title capped an undefeated lightweight season and followed the program's third consecutive team title at the Eastern Association of Women's Rowing Colleges conference championships. The conference team championship has been awarded the last three years. The UW varsity lightweight eight also captured its fifth straight conference boat title.
