After being born and raised in Wisconsin, former Badger standout Brian Butch has expanded his basketball career outside city, state and even national borders since his final season at UW in 2007-08. From China to Germany, the 6-foot-11 center has travelled the world in pursuit of a professional basketball career, and now finds his home in Greece, where he plays for the Ilysiakos Athens basketball team.

The 'Polar Bear' launched a blog and Twitter account, affectionaly titled 'Jump Around,' to keep in touch with fans worldwide. Follow Butch as he chronicles his adventures, from the ups and downs of being a professional athlete to living overseas.
