The 2009 Wisconsin Football Fact Book is now available online to view for free at UWBadgers.com. The Fact Book features 285 pages that cover just about everything a fan would want to know about Wisconsin football.
Fans can view it in PDF form by clicking on '2009 Football FactBook' in the right-hand column on the football page or by following this link .
Fans looking to get familiar with the 2009 Badgers can read every player's biography and look at numerical and alphabetical rosters, while those wanting to go back and recall what happened last season can find results, statistics and game summaries from the 2008 season.
The 'Records' section of the book covers individual records in 13 different categories, including rushing, passing, receiving and defense. Yearly statistical leaders, team records, Camp Randall Stadium records and opponent records are also featured in the section.
Game summaries and team and individual records from Wisconsin's bowl games are also available. All 20 games are featured, from the Badgers' 1953 Rose Bowl appearance to last year's Champs Sports Bowl.
In the 'Honors' section, see all of the major individual award winners, in addition to those that have been named All-Americans and First-team All-Big Ten. Team and academic honors are also highlighted.
Every single year and game that Wisconsin has played in can be found in the 'All-Time Results' section, beginning with the program's first game, a 27-0 loss to Calumet Club on Nov. 23, 1889. Series records and results versus opponents can be found in this section as well.
'History' features significant dates in Wisconsin football history, past head coaches, all-time letterwinners, retired numbers, offensive and defensive statistics for each year and the Badgers' history in the national polls.
In the 'Wisconsin and the NFL' portion, see every Badger that has ever been drafted into the NFL or been a member of an NFL franchise. A list of former Wisconsin players that have appeared in the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl can also be found in this section.
