San Antonio, Tex. – After shooting a 293 on the second day of competition, the Badgers moved into ninth place at the Alamo Invitational. TCU took over the lead, shooting a 1-under-par 294-281--575 over the first two days of competition. Tulane is six strokes behind at 581, followed by Texas A&M and Colorado, both at 582.
TCU’s Brooke Beeler is in the individual leader, shooting a 7-under-par 137 to hold the individual lead by one stroke over Colorado’s Jessica Wallace.
Wisconsin is led by Alexis Nelson who is tied for 19th with a 4-over-par 74-74--148. Freshman Kris Yoo tied a career best 18-hole score with a second round score of 73, and also set a new career low 36-hole score with a 150. Yoo is tied for 28th.
Alyssa Elliott and Carly Werwie are both tied for 35th at 151, and Lindsay Danielson is tied for 46th with a 153.
The Alamo Invitational marks the final event of the Badgers’ fall schedule.The event concludes on Tuesday with 18 holes.
