MADISON, Wis. -- Fresh off a season-opening win at UNLV on Saturday night, the Badgers make their home debut on Saturday against San Jose State. For those unable to make it to the game, it was confirmed on Sunday that the contest will air live on ESPN at 11 a.m. (CT).
Tickets are still available for the game and can be purchased online. Saturday’s game is “Hall of Fame Day” as seven former UW coaches and athletes will be recognized at halftime for their induction into the University of Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame.
Wisconsin and San Jose State have met just once prior to this season. The Badgers topped the Spartans 56-10 in San Jose on Sept. 13, 1997, as Ron Dayne ran for 254 yards and three touchdowns.
