MADISON, Wis. -- Junior Brianna Decker recorded her second hat trick of the season as the Wisconsin women's hockey team blazed past Boston University, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center.
With four points in the game, coming on three goals and one assist, Decker extends her point streak to 20 games. The junior has recorded 50 points (23G, 27A) in the 20-game span.
Decker wasn't the only Badger to record multiple goals, as freshman Blayre Turnbull netted two goals. Senior Hilary Knight scored one of her own to cap off the UW scoring sheet.

Sophomore goaltender Alex Rigsby recorded her ninth win of the season after making 22 stops on 23 BU shots.
The game got off to a slow start, but was sparked by Decker's first goal with fewer than three minutes left in the first period. With a faceoff to the left of BU's goaltender Kerrin Sperry, Decker won the faceoff draw to herself, beat a Terrier defender and moved across the crease before backhanding in her 10th goal of the season.
"I guess it kind of took a lucky bounce," Decker said of the early goal. "I went one-on-one with the goalie and I had to put it home because we were on the power play, and we needed a goal."
The second period saw an increase in the physical play with five of the 10 penalties called. Boston University tied up the score on a goal from Taylor Holze at the 3:36 mark. Fortunately, the Badgers regained their lead with less than two minutes left in the period behind Blayre Turnbull's first goal since the season opening series against Lindenwood. Turnbull received helped from Brittany Ammerman and Madison Packer on the goal.
Decker started the third period off with a goal, less than five minutes in, when Carolyne Prévost charged the net and slipped the puck to the far side to Decker.
"I thought the game today was pretty slow compared to the last seven games and certainly yesterday's game," head coach Mark Johnson said. "The teams were probably a little bit tired after the energy they expended yesterday. We were able to get a couple goals in the third period and as I've said before, when you score it creates energy. You get scored on and it takes it away. We capitalized a couple times in the third period."
A minute later, Hilary Knight extended the Badgers' lead when she skated around the back of the net and squeezed the puck past the side of the net and Sperry's skate.
Decker added her final goal at the 8:04 mark and Turnbull tallied her second a little less than four minutes later.
"I thought our team's done a great job this entire month," Rigsby said. `They've obviously been tough four opponents and I thought our team did a great job with it. We can't stop here and we have to keep going the rest of the season. "
The Badgers take off on their second road trip of the season next weekend, heading out to Columbus, Ohio to face the Buckeyes on Friday and Saturday.
