Team Notes
• Sunday’s sellout crowd marked the 136th consecutive sellout at the Kohl Center.
• The Badgers went 16-0 at home, posting an undefeated home schedule for just the third time in the last 80 years. Wisconsin went 15-0 in 2003-04 and 19-0 in 2006-07. Prior to that, the last time UW went undefeated at home was 1929-30.
• Overall, the Badgers have won 19 consecutive home games and 37 of their last 38. Those 19 straight wins tie for the sixth-longest nationally and the second-longest active mark in the Big Ten.
• The 19-game home win streak is the fifth-longest in school history. Four of the eight longest home win streaks in UW history have come under head coach Bo Ryan.
• At home vs. the Big Ten, Wisconsin is 78-6 (.929) under Bo Ryan.
• The Badgers have won four straight against Northwestern and 9 of the last 10. Wisconsin has won 13 straight home games against the Wildcats.
• Wisconsin has won 12 Big Ten games for just the eighth time in school history and the fourth time in the last five seasons.
• UW entered the game averaging just 7.70 turnovers per contest and committed only six against Northwestern.
• Wisconsin also came into the game with a nation’s best 1.79 assist-to-turnover ratio. The number moved up 1.80 as the Badgers had 12 assists to its six turnovers.
Offensive Notes
• Wisconsin’s 43 first-half point total tied for its second-highest first half during Big Ten play (UW had 45 at Northwestern on Jan. 23 and also had 43 against Michigan State on Feb. 6).
• UW shot 65.4 percent in the first half (17-for-26), the team’s best-shooting first half of the season and the team’s best-shooting half overall in Big Ten play this season.
Individual Notes
• Jon Leuer finished with 26, his 21st career game with 20 points or more (13th this season). He has now scored in double figures in 35 straight games.
• Jordan Taylor scored 16 points, the 24th straight game he has reached double figures.
• Keaton Nankivil posted 15 points against the Wildcats. The senior is now averaging 16.7 points per game over the last three contests.
• Josh Gasser finished with 10 points, the third time in the last five games he’s gone for double figures.
