
Awards continue to pour in for Leuer, Taylor

MADISON, Wis. -- The accolades continue to pour in for the Wisconsin duo of Jon Leuer and Jordan Taylor.
After being named first-team All-Big Ten on Monday, the pair picked up first-team All-District honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Wednesday.
Leuer, a senior forward, and Taylor were both named to the NABC All-District 7 first team, joining fellow Big Ten players JaJuan Johnson of Purdue, Jared Sullinger of Ohio State and Talor Battle of Penn State.
As All-District selections, Leuer and Taylor are eligible for the State Farm Coaches' All-America team, which will be announced during the Final Four on April 2.
Leuer and Taylor already have picked up All-America laurels from several national media outlets.
Taylor is a first-team All-American by FoxSports.com and earned second-team honors from CBSSports.com and Yahoo! Sports. Leuer was named to FoxSports.com's All-America third team and earned honorable mention from Yahoo! Sports.
Leuer and Taylor lead the Badgers into this weekend's Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis, Ind. The No. 3 seed, UW tips off with a quarterfinal game Friday against the winner of an opening-round matchup between No. 6 seed Penn State and 11th-seeded Indiana. Tip-off from Conseco Fieldhouse is set for approximately 8 p.m. (CT).
