MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin sophomore Fredrik Ask is off to a quick start this season after posting a combined record of 4-0 at No. 1 singles and doubles against Butler and Western Illinois. Ask has made major strides since coming to Madison last January. Last spring he posted a 7-7 record playing mostly at the bottom of the singles lineup and an 8-10 record at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Ask is part of a talented sophomore class that makes up just under half of the team's roster, and he will be relied upon heavily this season.
