MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin softball coaching staff is offering pitching and hitting camps this summer at Goodman Diamond. Participants have the option to choose up to two sessions per day to better their softball skills.
The pitching camp will be offered five different weeks in June and July on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Players may choose to participate in one-four sessions per week and can attend multiple weeks of camp if desired.
The camp is open to any and all participants, but walk ups will not be allowed for pitching camps. The age requirement for the pitching camp will be from 10-18 years old and space is limited to six participants per session. Pitchers are responsible for providing their own catchers and glove.
The hitting camp will be offered four different weeks in June and July on Mondays and Tuesdays. Participants may choose to attend one-four sessions per week and can attend multiple weeks of camp.
The hitting camp is open to 13-18 year-olds with a limit to ten participants per session. Hitters will be responsible for bringing their own bats, helmets and batting gloves. Cleats can be worn in the cages at Goodman Diamond.
Parents can observe camp at any time from the bleachers at the field. Parking will be available in Lot 60 located east of Goodman Diamond. Campers will receive a t-shirt for their participation in camp, limit one per summer.
