Men's golf finishes season at Big Ten Championship

French Lick, Ind. – The Wisconsin men’s golf team completed the final tournament of the season placing 12thwith a 304-308-304-316—1232 at the Big Ten Golf Championships in French Lick, Ind.
For the fifth straight year, Illinois won the conference title on the par 72 Pete Dye course with an 11-over par 291-294-285-293—1163. Finishing in first place individually was Thomas Pieters of Illinois who posted a 4-under par 70-70-70-74—284.
Senior Chris Meyer led the Badgers tying for 30th and carding a 15-over par 77-76-73-77—303 for his best conference meet finish. Zach Balit was not far behind, tying for 43rd place and posting a 21-over par 76-78-76-79—309.
Thomas O'Bryan and John Gullberg both finished tied for 49th. O'Bryan shot a 77-78-76-79—310 and Gullberg carded a 74-76-79-81—310. Rob Jacobsen finished in 59th place with a 79-83-79-81—322.
