TEAM NOTES
•    With the win, Bo Ryan improved to 322-121 (.726) in 14 seasons at Wisconsin. Ryan also collected his 705th career win, and holds a 705-224 (.759) record during his 31 years of coaching in the college ranks.
•    The Badgers opened their regular season with a win for the 13th-straight year. UW has won its past 13 season openers by an average of 28.2 points per game, including an 86-75 win over St. John’s in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, last season.
•    Wisconsin won its home opener for the 17th-straight season, and is a perfect 17-0 in home openers at the Kohl Center.
•    UW is 132-30 (.815) in non-conference games under Ryan, and have won 17 consecutive non-conference games. In addition, the Badgers improved to 82-2 (.976) at the Kohl Center under Ryan against the teams outside of the six major conferences and have won their past 55 against such opponents.
•    The Badgers improved to 196-21 (.903) at home under Ryan, including a 99-7 (.934) record in non-conference home tilts. UW is 232-33 (.875) at the Kohl Center.
•    Wisconsin held Northern Kentucky to 15 points in the first half, and 31 for the game. It marked the fewest points the Badgers have given up since Nov. 22, 2011 when UW held UMKC to 31 points in a 77-31 triumph and equaled the fewest points the Badgers have given up in the Ryan era.
•    The Badgers improved to 2-0 against teams against the Atlantic Sun Conference with the win over the Norse, as UW defeated Kennesaw State, 85-31, on Nov. 12, 2011 at the Kohl Center. 
•    The Badgers held the Norse to 14-of-53 shooting (26.4) from the field, and 2-of-16 (12.5) from beyond the arc.
•    Wisconsin outscored Northern Kentucky 34-16 in the paint.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
•    Senior Frank Kaminsky notched his first double-double of the season and the third of his career with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Kaminsky was 7-for-12 from the floor, and added four assists. Kaminsky tallied double-digit rebounds for the sixth time in his career. Wisconsin is now 16-1 when Kaminsky records 15 or more points.
•    Junior Sam Dekker finished with 15 points, including 13 in the second half. It marked the 50th time in his career that Dekker tallied double-digit points. The Badgers improved to 18-2 when Dekker scores 15 or more points.
•    Senior Traevon Jackson scored 9 points and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe.
•    Sophomore Vitto Brown collected a career-high seven points and four rebounds. Brown also played a career-high 14 minutes, and was a perfect 3-of-3 from the floor.
•    Sophomore Nigel Hayes tallied a career-high 10 rebounds, surpassing his previous career-best of six, which he set five times during the 2013-14 season. Hayes also added six points and two blocks.
•    Freshmen Riley Dearring, Matt Ferris and Aaron Moesch made their Wisconsin debuts in the win.
