Freshman Kelli Bates tallied eight kills and redshirt senior Dominique Thompson went 5-0-5 for a perfect attack percentage.

Bates and junior Taylor Morey led the Badgers with six digs each while Thompson's two blocks in the period brought her career total to 300.
Wisconsin led 18-13 in the third set before the Hurricanes rallied to pull within two (19-17). A UW time out stopped the Miami rally as the Badgers outscored the Hurricanes 6-2 to claim the sweep. Sophomore Haleigh Nelson served her third ace of the night, breaking her previous career-high ace record of two.
