MBB preview plus 'Day in the Life' of Coach Chryst
Ever wondered what an FBS head coach does in a day's time? UWBadgers.com Insider Andy Baggot takes fans inside a 16-hour day with Coach Chryst, shadowing him from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. during the Badgers' preparation for their game vs. Maryland. From watching film, to picking next year's uniforms, to meetings with Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez, the first half of his day is filled with administrative duties and dotted with game plans. The afternoon features a team meeting, an hour inside the quarterbacks room, a special mic'd up video piece from the practice field and an extensive 1-on-1 meeting with quarterback Joel Stave after dinner. This amazing exclusive piece is only available in 'Varsity' Magazine.
With the men's basketball team set to raise the 2015 Final Four banner and tip off the 2015-16 season on Friday, UWBadgers.com Senior Writer Mike Lucas poses the question of what's next for a Badger squad that needs to replace so much firepower. While people on the outside may have lowered expectations for UW given that fact, this year's team has a vastly different view.

"The Voice of the Badgers" Matt Lepay writes that before we move ahead on the upcoming men's hoops season, it's good to take some time to look back. And not just at the Final Four season of last year but at the teams who laid the foundation of one of the nation's most successful programs.Â
Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez knows the football team's bye week has come at an opportune time. Ten straight weeks of games have taken its toll on the Badgers, who have persevered and compiled an 8-2 record. Alvarez also touches on his work with the College Football Playoff committee, which has unveiled its top 25 rankings each of the last two weeks.
