Wisconsin Soccer Camps provide players of all levels the chance to take part in advanced training activities and playing opportunities that can be used to take their game to new heights. Whether you are looking to improve your technical skills, make your local club or high school team, or are trying to advance your game to the college level, the Wisconsin Soccer Camps can help you reach your goals. Campers will also have the chance to learn from UW players and coaches, including former Major League Soccer and United States National Team assistant coach, and current Wisconsin head coach, John Trask, in an organized and energy-filled environment.Â
The Winter Academy and Winter College ID Camp are held in the McClain Center on the Camp Randall Stadium grounds.
WINTER COLLEGE ID CAMP (JANUARY 16-17)
The Winter College ID Camp, held Jan. 16-17, is designed for players and prospects to gain a better understanding of the demands of Division I college soccer. Over the course of two days, the Wisconsin Men's Soccer coaching staff, as well as other college coaches, will train campers as if they were current members of the Wisconsin soccer team. Within these training sessions, the UW coaching staff will utilize UW players as demonstrative assistants to help campers directly compare their strengths and weaknesses. By the end of the weekend, the goal is to provide participants with an understanding of where they are with their development and what tools they need to concentrate on before entering the collegiate environment. The Winter College ID Camp is open to any and all male entrants grades 9-Jr. College.
