TEAM NOTES
• Wisconsin improved to 24-2 on the season, equaling the Badgers' best 26-game start in program history. UW also opened the 2006-07 season with a mark of 24-2.
• The Badgers moved to 12-1 in the Big Ten, marking just the second time UW has been 12-1 since the conference expanded to an 18-game schedule in 1974-75 - also in 2007.
• UW won its 9th-consecutive Big Ten game, the school's longest conference win streak since winning 11 conference games in a row to close out the 1940-41 season.
• Wisconsin's 9-game conference win streak is the longest in the Big Ten since 2010-11. Over the last 8 seasons, Wisconsin is just the 5th team to post a Big Ten win streak of 9 games or longer.
• Bo Ryan improved to 345-123 (.737) during his time in Madison. He also improved to 168-67 (.715) all-time in Big Ten action, the highest winning percentage in conference history.
• UW is now 11-1 away from home this season, including 8-1 in true road games.
• Over the last 2 seasons, the Badgers improved to 27-6 (.818) away from home, including a mark of 16-4 on the road. Over the last two seasons, the Badgers own the most road/neutral wins of any major conference team and have the second-best win percentage.
• Under Ryan, the Badgers are 83-70 (.542) all-time in true road games.
• Wisconsin held Penn State to 47 points and has limited each of its last four opponent below 60 points.
• This season,, UW has now won a game when scoring in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
• The Badgers owned a 37-28 edge on the glass, including a 9-4 advantage on offensive rebounds.
• UW limited Penn State to just 3 free throw attempts, while going 10-for-15 themselves. The Badgers have made more FTs than their opponents have attempted in 18 of 26 games.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Junior Sam Dekker scored a career-high 22 points, going 9-for-13 from the floor, including 3-for-6 from 3-point range. He has scored 20+ in 2 of the last 3 games and posted double-digit points in 10 straight games.
• Senior Frank Kaminsky registered 16 points and 9 rebounds to go with 2 assists a block and a steal. Kaminsky has reached double figures in 24 out of 25 games and 19 consecutive.
• Sophomore Nigel Hayes came up one point short of his fifth double-double, matching his career high with 13 rebounds and scoring 9 points. He also equaled his career high with 5 offensive rebounds and added one block and one steal.
