NAPA, Calif.-- Sophomore Michelle Cheung continued to soar past her fall season scores at the Silverado Showdown by tallying the only two eagles of the tournament and leading the Badgers for the second time since February. In her only other competition of 2015, she finished second among her teammates.

Wisconsin finished 11th out of 15 teams at the Silverado Showdown, with Tuesday's final round of 306 bumping them up to 57-over 921 overall. However, UW wasn't the only team over par. In fact, the whole field was above the mark, with champion and co-host Oregon, at 25-over 889.

There were only two individuals who finished under par for the tournament -- Lucia Gutierrez of California and Esther Lee of Colorado-- with tournament medalist Gutierrez scoring 4-under 73-71-68--212.

On the award-winning  Par 72, 6,253-yard Silverado Golf Course, Cheung chalked up a 6-over 222 to end tied for 11th with seven birdies and her two eagles.

Brooke Ferrell also dished out seven birdies and was the only other Badger besides Cheung to score in the 70s today, finishing with a 78-75-73--226.

Kimberly Dinh rounded out the tournament with a 9-over 81 to finish with 234 strokes and tied for 49th. Gabby Curtis took one less swing today, but ended tied for 62nd with her 23-over 239.

Aaren Ziegler couldn't break the spell and scored in the 80s all tournament to end in 77th with a 255.

Up next, the Badgers head to Indianapolis April 24-26 for the Big Ten Championships and a chance to move onto the NCAA regional tournament.
