MADISON, Wis. -- In its last appearance of the regular season, the Wisconsin women's track and field team will host six squads at the Dan McClimon Track and Soccer Complex. UW-Whitewater, Edgewood, Northern Iowa, Texas Tyler, Illinois State, and UW-Platteville will all make an appearance in Madison on Friday for the Wisconsin Twilight meet.
The Badgers will also honor all 11 seniors who have competed with the Badgers throughout their collegiate careers. With forecasts of questionable weather, the Badgers hope to see the meet through to the end.
"The weather forecast isn't very favorable with thunderstorms predicted," Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Mick Byrne, said. "But the goal is to see if we can increase our roster size for the Big Ten meet.

All three multi-athletes, Ellenwood, Pawlik, and Latham, will run in the 100 hurdles.
In the 100 meters, Ebony McClendon will be the lone representation for UW. McClendon will also compete in the 200, and will be joined by senior Sophie Roth.
Roth will also compete in the 400 meters with fellow senior Grace Heglund-Lohman and Brenna Detra.
In the 800 meters, the trio of Emma Reifel, Megan O'Neil, and Lauren Holtz will take the track for the Badgers.
The final individual event for the Badgers, the 5000 meters, will be an all-Badger heat, with Shaelyn Sorensen running unattached, while Sarah Heinemann, Michele Lee, senior Anne Gregory, Madeline Timm, and Allie Woodward will run for UW.
The 4x400 relay will close out the events for the women, with Detra, Holtz, Reifel, and O'Neil running as Wisconsin's `A' relay.
As the seniors compete at home one last time, the Badgers are looking for regional marks as they move on to the championship segment of the outdoor season.
"It's our way to send them off and thank them for their contribution to the team," Byrne said. "For every one of these kids, in their own way they've contributed a lot to the program."
