MADISON, Wis. -- Coming off of a stellar first season with the Badgers, freshman Kelsey Jenkins was named to the 2015 Canadian Junior Women's National Team that will compete in the Future Gold Division of the Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship from July 3-12 in Surrey, British Columbia.
The 17-player roster will then go on to play at the WBSC XI Junior Women's World Softball Championship set for August 1-9 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Jenkins, the first freshman in UW history named first-team All-Big Ten, started all 52 games for the Badgers in her debut season and set the UW single-season record for all players with 42 walks. She knocked out a school record-tying three homers in a single game against Rutgers on May 1 and led the team with six home runs on the season.
