MADISON, Wis. -- With the 2015-16 Wisconsin men's hockey season right around the corner, UWBadgers.com goes beyond what fans will see on the ice this season to introduce the 10 members of the Badgers' freshman class by exploring their personalities, likes and dislikes.
Next up in the series is forward Luke Kunin.
Kunin comes to Wisconsin after a season with the U.S. National Team Development Program's under-18 team in 2014-15, where he scored 27 goals and 42 points in 61 games. Kunin also has considerable international experience under his belt, including serving as the captain for Team USA at the 2015 Under-18 World Championships, where he scored six goals in seven games.
Kunin will wear No. 9 with Wisconsin, a number most recently wore by Morgan Zulinick (2012-15). Other high-profile Badgers to wear No. 9 include Steve Tuttle, Steve Rohlik, Mike Davies and Mark Zengerle.
