Start time changed for UW-Platteville exhibition Oct. 30

Badgers and Pioneers will now tip off 1 p.m. CT at the Kohl Center
MADISON, Wis. — The start time has been changed for the Wisconsin men's basketball exhibition against UW-Platteville, as the Badgers and the Pioneers will now tip off at 1 p.m. CT on Oct. 30 at the Kohl Center. The game will be streamed live on BTN Plus.
Wisconsin vs. UW-Platteville will serve as Brain Cancer Awareness Game and fans in attendance will receive a free grey Brain Cancer Awareness Wristband, while supplies last. Brothers and opposing head coaches, Greg and Jeff Gard wanted the game to have extra meaning, as the date also marks the one-year anniversary of the passing of their father, Glen Gard, who died of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM).
In partnership with the UW Carbone Cancer Center, the event will be a celebration of the doctors and researchers working at UW-Madison striving to find a cure. The game will also serve to recognize those who fight or have fought bravely and valiantly against this disease and the community impacted by cancer and the support they provide in this fight.
