MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin women's hockey junior
Annie Pankowski, along with former Badger standouts Brianna Decker, Meghan Duggan, Hilary Knight and Alex Rigsby, will compete this week for the United States in its two-game series against Canada, as announced by USA Hockey on Friday.

The five Badgers, who helped the U.S. capture gold at the 2016 Four Nations Cup last month, were among 23 players selected after a week-long evaluation camp in Plymouth, Michigan.

In addition to the UW quintet competing for the USA, five Badgers will suit up for Canada. Current Wisconsin senior
Ann-Renée Desbiens and junior
Emily Clark will be joined on the Canadian roster by former UW standouts Meaghan Mikkelson and Blayre Turnbull, along with future Badger Sophie Shirley.

The United States and Canada meet on Saturday in a 3:30 p.m. CT tilt in Plymouth, Michigan. The game will be shown live on NBCSN. The teams meet two days later in Sarnia, Ontario, for a 6 p.m. contest.
