Badgers host North Carolina in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Wisconsin and Tar Heels face off on Dec. 1
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's basketball team will host North Carolina in the 10th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Dec. 1 in the Kohl Center.
"We are excited to play such a great team in North Carolina with their strong tradition and Hall of Fame Head Coach Sylvia Hatchell," first-year head coach Jonathan Tsipis said. "The opportunity to host an ACC/Big Ten Challenge game in my first year is great for our fans and for it to be my alma mater, makes it even more exciting for me and all of Badger Nation."
The Badgers are 5-4 all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge with wins against Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, Boston College and a victory against Wake Forest in 2015-16.
The ACC has dominated the challenge, winning six of nine seasons with three years ending in ties, including the last two seasons.
