Badgers enjoyed 12 sellouts during 2015-16 season
MADISON, Wis. – After sweeping the WCHA regular season and tournament titles and advancing to the program's ninth NCAA Frozen Four last year, the Wisconsin women's hockey team is ready to hit the ice for another spectacular season in LaBahn Arena.
Now is the time for Badger fans to consider becoming a Wisconsin women's hockey season ticket holder. Current women's hockey season ticket holders can order their tickets for the 2016-17 season today. General admission season tickets are just $50 for adults and $25 for youth/senior citizens and allow fans to sit anywhere in LaBahn Arena.
In addition to great seats, Wisconsin women's hockey season ticket holders also have priority in ordering WCHA first round playoff and NCAA tournament tickets, should Wisconsin be selected to play and host.
The deadline for current season ticket holders to order season tickets is Friday, Aug. 31. To order your season tickets, please click here or call the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-BADGERS.
Wisconsin went a perfect 21-0-0 last year at LaBahn Arena, marking the first time in program history UW won all of its home games in a single season. The Badgers ranked second in the NCAA in attendance, averaging 2,019 fans per game, while their 12 shutouts were the most last year in the nation.
The Badgers return the 2016 USCHO.com Player of the Year Ann-Renee Desbiens, who set NCAA records last year for goals-against average (0.76), save percentage (.960) and shutouts (21). In addition, the Badgers return their top-three goal scorers in Sarah Nurse, Emily Clark and Annie Pankowski.
