Baggot: Fill the Bowl big win for fans, region

Wisconsin sells out Kohl Center for Saturday’s game vs. St. Cloud State

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's hockey program announced that its Fill the Bowl event at the Kohl Center on Saturday has officially sold out.

With an anticipated capacity crowd on hand for the 4 p.m. (CT) contest between the top-ranked Badgers and St. Cloud State, UW will surpass its previous NCAA women's hockey single-game attendance record of 13,573 set at the last Fill the Bowl in 2014.

Fans attending Fill the Bowl are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Community Action Coalition.

In addition, it is recommended that fans arrive early at the Kohl Center with gates opening 90 minutes prior to puck drop on Saturday. Fans will be required to pass through metal detectors before entering the Kohl Center as part of safety initiatives.

For those unable to attend Fill the Bowl on Saturday, the game will be televised live on Fox Sports Wisconsin and Fox Sports North, as Brian Posick and Bill Brophy have the call from the Kohl Center.
