Four Badgers on offense named first-team All-Big Ten

Benzschawel, Deiter, Fumagalli and Taylor lead UW contingent
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin junior offensive linemen Beau Benzschawel and Michael Deiter, along with freshman running back Jonathan Taylor, earned consensus first-team All-Big Ten honors, the league announced Wednesday. They were joined on the coaches' first team by senior tight end Troy Fumagalli as a total of eight Badgers on the offensive side of the ball earned all-league honors.
UW has had four offensive linemen start all 12 games this season and all four were honored by the league. In addition to Benzschawel and Deiter, sophomore tackle David Edwards was a consensus second-team selection while freshman center Tyler Biadasz was named to the third team by both the media and coaches.
Sophomore wide receiver Quintez Cephus was a consensus honorable mention all-league choice despite missing the Badgers' last three games due to injury. Sophomore quarterback Alex Hornibrook, who ranks second in the league in pass efficiency, was also a consensus honorable mention selection.
