Open practice, watch party, the UW Band and Bucky highlight NCAA fan events
MADISON, Wis. --Â Fans heading to St. Charles, Missouri, for the 2017 NCAA Women's Frozen Four have a number of opportunities to join other Badger fans in the area!
The tournament weekend begins with the Badgers' open practice on Thursday, March 16 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. This free event allows fans a sneak-peak at the Badgers as they prepare for their semifinal match-up with Boston College.
Later that evening, join fellow Wisconsin fans at the Official Badger Bar of St. Louis, Syberg's Dorsett. Come cheer on the men's basketball team as they take on Virginia Tech at 8:40 p.m. in game one of the NCAA tournament. Be there to receive Frozen 4WARD t-shirts, pom-poms, roller-banners, and more!
On Friday, all fans are encouraged to join Bucky Badger and the UW Band at 3:00 p.m. to welcome the women's hockey team as they enter the Family Arena for the NCAA "Red Carpet Arrival". The top-seeded Badgers meet fourth-seeded Boston College at 5 p.m. in the first semifinal of the 2017 NCAA Frozen Four.
If Wisconsin wins on Friday, continue to back the Badgers and catch up on the latest March Madness basketball games at Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill on Saturday. If the men's basketball team advances they would play that day. We will be giving away Frozen 4WARD t-shirts, pom-poms, roller-banners, and more. On top of that, Hotshots will be providing free appetizers!
Then on Sunday, wear white and join the UW Band and Bucky Badger and welcome the Badgers back to Family Arena for the National Championship game at the NCAA "Red Carpet Arrival". The 2017 NCAA title game is set to begin at 2 p.m.
