MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's soccer team hosts its home opener on Saturday night at 7 p.m. (CT) against Grand Canyon. A live video stream and live statistics will be available through UWBadgers.com. Additionally, live updates can be found through Twitter (@BadgerMSoccer).
1. LOOKING BACK: The Badgers tied both Tulsa and Oral Roberts over the weekend in Oklahoma. Senior goalkeeper Philipp Schilling was the story of the night for the Badgers (0-0-2), making save after save in the net, including four in the overtime periods. He ended the night with a career-high 10 saves.
2. CATTY: Senior Mike Catalano had the lone goal against Oral Roberts and also fired off a team-high four shots against the Golden Eagles after only having one shot against the Golden Hurricane.
3. COUNT ON MARK: Senior Mark Segbers is responsible for two of three Badger assists on the season, with one in each game so far this season. He had the second-most assists last season with six, following fellow senior Chris Mueller who had 11.
4. BRAM DORRESTEIJN YOUTH NIGHT: Saturday's game will be dedicated as "Bram Dorresteijn Youth Night" in honor of former Badger Bram Dorrestejin. There will be FREE admission to youth soccer players wearing their team jerseys and Madison Area club and high school soccer youth teams receive FREE admission. Additionally, there will be a poster giveaway and post-match autographs.

5. SCOUTING THE LOPES: GCU is under the leadership of Schellas Hyndman, who has a 14-19-13 record entering his third season at the helm of the program. The Lopes lost both of its opening games in overtime. GCU held No. 14 Creighton scoreless until the 106-minute mark when the Blue Jays broke through. Grand Canyon dropped its only exhibition game of the season, 2-0, to No. 20 New Mexico. This will be the first meeting between Wisconsin and Grand Canyon.
