Big Ten sweeps ACC behind six wins by Badgers

Wisconsin’s Beata Nelson goes 6-for-6 in star-studded conference showdown
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – On the concluding day of the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Swimming and Diving Challenge, Wisconsin junior Beata Nelson picked up right where she left off.
Nelson posted two individual wins Sunday, one in the 100-yard backstroke (51.03) and another in the 200-yard individual medley (1:54.94), and contributed to two Big Ten relay victories in the 200 medley (1:34.96) and 400 freestyle relays (3:11.60).
On a weekend waterlogged with star power, Nelson bagged a total of six wins, solidifying her standing as one of the nation's best competitors.
When all was said and done, members of the Wisconsin swimming and diving team helped give the Big Ten a decisive sweep over the ACC.

The Wisconsin swimming and diving team will be back in the pool at the annual Texas Invitational, Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 in Austin, Texas.
