Postgame Quotes: No. 16 Wisconsin vs. Savannah State

Kohl Center | Madison, Wis.
Opening Statement:
"It was good for us to get back home and do some good things. I saw a lot of good things. Guys were able to get some experience off the bench who normally haven't got that much. They'll be able to use that experience as we build and continue to move forward. They start finals tomorrow, jump into that mode and try to see if we can be as successful in the classroom as we have been on the floor."
On Tai and Kobe learning experience:
"Anytime you can get experience under the lights with the clock running, regardless of the opponent, regardless of score, it's great experience…we, for the most part, stayed true to who we are and how we have to play going forward…Tai will learn from the turnovers and learn from the assists. I think anytime you can get experience, specifically as a young player, and both of them (Strickland and King) are young, it is beneficial. They are going to build from it, take the good, learn from the bad, and move forward."
On Brad Davison knocking shots in:
"He is such a competitive person, he thinks he should make every shot all of the time. He was a quarterback in football, so he thought he should never throw an incomplete pass…he is that competitive and holds himself to that type of standard. Saturday didn't sit well for everybody but specifically him because we didn't play well. The key thing with Brad is to continue to do the other things well that made him who he is and the ball will go in…"
