Head coach Greg Gard

Opening statement:
"I'm happy with our performance. We did some really good things. We got better defensively specifically in the second half. Some good things on that end of the floor. Once we were able to get it the ball we were able to finish inside for the most part, got to the foul line. I'm happy with how we finished it out here for our home portion of the non-conference season. I like how this group has grown and continues to find ways and we can get contributions from a variety of places and people."

On the best thing about this team being its balanced attack:
"I think that's definitely the strength of this group. I think the majority of our better teams here over the last 18 years have had that depth. I get asked a lot about a third scorer but I really don't get caught up with that because the third chair can rotate. We play musical chairs for that spot and for the fourth chair. Different nights it's different people. Sometimes it's matchup driven based on how the other team defensively plays. Sometimes it's a hot hand so to speak. I think today we dispersed the ball really well even when Ethan was out. We really were balanced and did some good things. We had really good movement, shared the ball, got the ball in the high percentage areas and did some good things in transition at times. I like the balance. That makes you a much harder team to play when you can come from multiple angels offensively."
